Geena Matuson, Founder
Geena Matuson is an award-winning writer, artist, filmmaker and web designer in the Boston area, with a BFA in Film & Video from Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Outside of the visual arts, Geena works as a media and communications consultant.
I make films and digital art, and create websites, social media sites and digital strategy across various platforms, teaching others about both social media and content marketing through research and first-person experience.
Geena is Founder of Meeting In The Media, as well as Head Writer and Editor, Website Developer and Graphic Designer.
Geena's work has been featured in shows internationally, including CyberArts Festival, Architecture Boston Expo (ABX), Germany After Dark Horror Festival, and PH21 Gallery in Budapest. Among her list of accolades, she received the One To Watch Award in the 2013 Red Wasp Film Festival, was nominated for a Stowe Story Labs Fellowship, and was a semi-finalist in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards for her short film Ice Cream For Breakfast (2013), which she wrote, directed, and produced.
Over the years, Geena has concentrated her focus on writing and collaborative artistic projects, always eager to create something new with a fellow artist. She is also available for freelance media and communications and design services.
