Magic Bullet Looks Demo: Giraffe World

My favorite color program right now - and for the last two years - has been Magic Bullet Looks, a color program and editing suite by RedGiant. This plugin program works with many different editing programs, and you can use it on both images and video!

I decided to test the program using footage I already had handy, and landed on screenshots from my music video ‘Giraffe World‘ (2010). After editing the screenshots, however, the corresponding video looked lackluster in comparison:

So, I took the original, 2010 video footage and came up with a new visual edit for my ‘Giraffe World’ music video, and replaced the original video with this new cut online. Watch the video embedded below, or directly on Vimeo:

I replaced the video on Vimeo, which means the older, not-so-pretty version is no longer online, but these stills from the original music video show the previous color – or, rather, lack thereof.

Though the original, visual edit was featured in the 2011 CyberArts Festival, I feel comfortable replacing that outdated footage with this cut.
