This month we began to search Behance with the term 'alien,' and found some interesting photographs of flowers. This sparked a search for art with the tag 'space flowers,' and we found some interesting work! Check out our curated Behance finds below, with links to the artist's Behance portfolios.

You can also see this great project Beccy*, the graduate thesis project of Jack Collins from Ireland. Click the link to watch his great video advertisements for dragonfruit that produce crude oil, and more.

This project was completed as the piece for my graduate show and was exhibited at Future Proofed, the 2015 Visual Communications show at IADT. The brief, subject matter and concept were all entirely self generated. BECCY (Biologically Engineered CrowdSourced Creations Yay), my graduate project, was born out of an interest in synthetic biology, an emergent field of science which sees architects, designers and scientists creating solutions to modern problems through combining the genetic and DNA structure of organics like plants and animals. BECCY takes designs for fantastical bio-creations submitted by the general public and produces them for sale, following the model of modern 3D printing companies.
